I've never been a fan of the song The First Noel. I mean, if it wasn't for the foreign language aspect, this song would never have made it. The chorus is all one word!

um, "born is the king of Israel"! and they stretch out the notes in the words 'king' and 'Israel' to give the illusion of length and substance.
i think the worst part of the song is that the chorus is the SAME as the verses, melody-wise. and its a rather boring melody at that. :)
I think its ok to dislike traditional Christmas songs, even if they express the fundamentals of our faith. pssh-aw.
